This poster was created for the Great Ideas of Humanity exhibition at the Chicago Museum of Design, inspired by Michel de Montaigne’s 1557 essay quote: "The great and the glorious masterpiece of man is to live to the point. All other things—to reign, to hoard, to build—are, at most inconsiderable props and appendages."

Life’s true purpose is simply to live fully. Each step we take with the mindset of “living to the point” should bring us closer to our true essence and connection with nature, while reminding us that material pursuits are often empty and unimportant. This poster emphasizes simplicity and appreciation of existence, presenting “living to the point” as humanity’s ultimate masterpiece.
